UNIMA 2008: 20th UNIMA Congress and World Puppetry Festival The worldwide puppetry organization UNIMA holds its Congress and World Puppetry Festival every four years, and in 2008 it was held in Western Australia as its 20th event. Over 400 puppeteers, puppet lovers, friends and one million puppets from around the globe gathered in Perth to open a project which four years of hard work had gone into. The festival had eleven days of international and Australian puppetry performances, exhibitions and workshops.
