  32nd International Festival Cervantino ends. The Japanese drum group Wadaiko Yamato performs before an audience of 6,000.
Held every October in the central Mexican state of Guanajuato, the International Festival Cervantino is Central and South America’s largest arts festival (General Director: Mr. Ramiro Osorio Fonseca). On Oct. 24 the Japanese drum group Wadaiko Yamato performed at this festival for an audience of 6,000. This festival is financed by donations from the general public and support from the Mexican government, and besides stage performances by Mexican and international companies, the festival also feature a variety of attractions ranging from exhibitions, film showings and seminars. On the official website of Wadaiko Yamato, you can see tour reports about the festival’s performances, Reynosa performance held in bullfighting arena and performances held in the capital Mexico City, which stands at an elevation of 2,000 m.
