Scandinavia’s largest contemporary music festival Ultima Oslo Contemporary Music Festival opens on Sept. 30
 The Ultima Oslo Contemporary Music Festival held each autumn in the Norwegian capital is Scandinavia’s representative contemporary music festivals. In the 2005 festival will be artists from the 18 countries of Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Norway, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the USA. This year a special program called “Japan in Focus” will provide performance of Japanese music by more than 50 Japanese musicians, composers, dancers and artists.
