Profile:
He is a choreographer and the director of IDEVIAN CREW. He founded IDEVIAN CREW in 1991, with the aim of creating unique dances based on the movements that people perform in everyday life. Hoping to tickle ordinary people's spirit of fun, he debuted with IDEVIAN in 1995. He established an original dance style by making use of the performers' physiques and individuality to portray the motif of relationships within groups as expressed in the joy, awkwardness, and clumsiness that arise in the course of everyday communication. He frequently cooperates with artists in other fields, including the visual arts and music. He conducts workshops for ordinary citizens and children, and has established a reputation for his choreographic abilities. He received the first place Audience Award at the Arena Festival in Erlangen, Germany in 1995. In addition to performances in Germany, the United Kingdom, and France, he has also created commissioned works for a British company.

Unreasonable Mme Belle
2003
Choreographed and constructed on the motif of the actions of "upper class ladies," this work has a theme of "unreasonableness." The image of a bell that sounds from far away when one feels that something is unreasonable is superimposed on the image of "Madame Belle." The unscripted movements evoke a story-like sense in the audience, The music is provided by ASA-CHANG & JUNRAY, who have received attention for the pop and avant garde-influenced musicality.
